What SnapTik actually does

You paste a link to a public post. The server fetches that file from the TikTok or Douyin content network and hands it back to your browser. You pick MP4 or MP3 and save it.

The logo that drifts across the frame is not cropped or blurred away. SnapTik asks for the clean source file instead, which is why the result looks untouched.

Why this site exists

Saving a clip from inside the TikTok app leaves that moving watermark burned into the picture. On iPhone the problem is different. Safari drops downloads into the Files app rather than Photos, so people assume the save failed. SnapTik hands the file to the iOS share sheet, which is what makes Save Video appear.

What it cannot do

• Videos on private accounts stay out of reach, because the link was never open to begin with.
• Deleted posts are gone. No tool anywhere can bring one back.
• Clips restricted to one region fail from everywhere else.
• Quality follows the source. A low-resolution upload stays low-resolution after saving.

How to use it well

Copy the link from the Share menu in the app, not the address of a profile page. Paste it on the home page and wait for the result card to appear. When the creator uploaded a high-resolution copy, the HD option sits at the top of the list.

Videos belong to the people who made them. Keeping one for personal use or reference is one thing; reposting is another. Ask first and credit the creator.

What the site keeps about you

Nothing that identifies you. There is no database here, no account system, and no download history for anyone. One short-lived cookie is written when a download finishes, and it expires after 120 seconds. The cookie policy explains it in full.

There are no third-party scripts, no analytics, and no tracking pixels. A technical line is logged only when a download fails, purely so the fault can be traced.
