Copyright and DMCA notices

DownloadVideoTikTok.Net acts on valid copyright notices. Read this page before sending one, because a notice missing the required details cannot be acted on.

This site stores no video files

No video, image, or audio file is held here. When a link is pasted, the file is fetched from TikTok or Douyin content servers and passed straight to the visitor's browser. Nothing remains afterwards, since there is no database and no media library.

That changes what a takedown can achieve. The copy of your work lives on TikTok's servers, not on this one. Removing it at the source is the step that actually deletes it. What this site can do is review the notice and, where it is able to, stop the tool from returning that link.

What a valid notice must contain

• Your name and contact details, including an email address that works.
• A clear description of the work you hold rights to.
• The exact TikTok or Douyin URL of the material in question.
• A statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised.
• A statement that the information above is accurate, made under penalty of perjury.
• Your signature, physical or electronic.

Send the notice to contact@snaptikx.com and put "Copyright notice" in the subject line. One notice per work keeps things traceable.

What happens after you send it

Complete notices are reviewed in the order they arrive. Where the complaint concerns a link this site can act on, that link is blocked from the tool. A reply goes to the address you supplied. No turnaround time is promised, because the site is not staffed around the clock.

Counter-notice

If a link was blocked and you believe that was a mistake, write back and say so. A counter-notice should identify the blocked link, explain why the block is wrong, and give your contact details. It also needs a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the block came from error or misidentification.

Notices sent in bad faith

Claiming rights over material you do not own carries legal consequences in many places. If you are unsure whether the rights are yours, ask a lawyer before writing. Nothing on this page is legal advice.

For everyday users

Saving someone's video gives you no right to publish it. Watching a clip offline is one thing; posting it on your own account is another. When in doubt, ask the creator and credit them.
