What matters with Stories
Gone after 24 hours
Past that point the link is dead and no tool anywhere can recover it.
Public Stories only
A Story on a private account cannot be fetched because the link stays closed.
Saves to Photos on iPhone
Stories are video, so they land in the Photos app like any other clip.
Story link, not profile link
A profile URL will not work here; it has to be the link to the Story itself.
Not an anonymous viewer
This saves public Story links; it does not hide who watched anything.
Quality matches the upload
A low-resolution Story stays low-resolution; nothing here is upscaled.
This page handles TikTok story download requests for links that are still publicly open. Paste a link to download TikTok stories before they expire. Nothing needs installing.

Twenty-four hours is the real constraint
This matters more than anything else on the page. A TikTok Story deletes itself twenty-four hours after posting, and the link dies with it. No tool can recover an expired Story, including this one. Grabbing the link early therefore matters far more than which downloader you pick.
Saving is not the same as watching
Some people look for a way to view Stories without being seen. This page is not that and does not hide anyone's identity. All this page does is save TikTok story files from a link that is already open to everyone.
When it will not work
Stories on private accounts cannot be fetched because the link is closed to outsiders. Stories older than twenty-four hours cannot be recovered by any means. Output quality follows the source, so a low-resolution Story stays that way. A profile link will not do; the tool needs the link to the Story itself.

Nothing about the Story link is kept
Downloads here do not go through a database, and no history is kept for anyone. A failed fetch writes one technical line so the fault can be traced, and it carries no identity. Since there is no sign-up, there is no account for a Story link to be attached to.
On iPhone the Story lands in Photos
Stories are video, so they follow the same path as any clip. Once the file is fetched, SnapTik hands it to the native iOS share sheet and you tap Save Video to put it in Photos. That avoids Safari's habit of dropping downloads into the Files app. On Android and desktop the file goes to the browser's own download manager.
For ordinary posts rather than Stories, use the TikTok downloader. Audio alone comes from the TikTok MP3 page, and links from the China edition go to the Douyin video downloader.
A Story belongs to whoever posted it and was meant to be temporary. Save only what you need, and ask before sharing it onward.
