This page lists every cookie downloadvideotiktok.net sets. Today the list has exactly one entry.

The one cookie in use

Its name starts with ssdl_ and ends with a random token. It lives for 120 seconds, uses path=/ and SameSite=Lax, then expires on its own.

It is written at a single moment: when a download finishes. The page reads it to confirm the file was delivered, so the button can stop spinning. It carries no name, no email, and no record of what you saved.

Two minutes later it is gone whether you touch it or not.

What this site does not set

There is no analytics cookie here. No Google Analytics, no advertising pixel, no heatmap recorder, no split-testing tool. There is no login cookie either, because the site has no accounts to log into. No session cookie is used.

That also means no third-party script runs on these pages. Nothing loads from another domain to watch what you do.

If advertising is switched on later

No ads run on this site at the moment. If advertising were enabled in future, an advertising partner would load its own code in your browser. Partners of that kind normally set their own cookies, to cap how often an ad is shown and to measure clicks.

Those cookies would be controlled by the partner rather than by this site, and the partner's own policy would apply to them. This is written in the conditional on purpose: none of it is happening now. If it ever does, this page gets updated and the list above stops being one line.

Why the list is so short

Tracking exists to build a picture of a visitor over time. This site has no database, so there is nothing to attach such a picture to. Keeping the list at one entry means less to explain and less to get wrong.

Controlling cookies yourself

Every major browser can block cookies, clear them, or refuse them for one site. Look under Settings, then Privacy. Blocking the ssdl_ cookie will not stop a file from downloading; at most the completed state is signalled less cleanly.

You do not need to hunt for it manually. It removes itself after two minutes.
